I'm Not a Singer... but I Am in the MTC

Hey Everyone,

So I didn't know what your email was and I tried to remember on Friday because they told us we could email home real quick and let you guys know how things are going but obviously it wasn't the right email. I’m trying to write letters I’m just super busy all the time... but don't worry I’ll get more out!

But hey I love it here so much!! We literally study for 6+ hours a day and it doesn't even feel that long! The spirit here is so dang strong, I feel it even just walking around.

My companion is a way awesome guy! He’s from Milford Utah and his name is Elder Davis. My district is honestly the best in the world :) and you'll never guess what... Connor Adams is in my District!!!!! How cool is that!!

But holy cow!!! Sunday was the best day so far. The whole district joined the choir and we sang in the devotional with the Nashville Tribute band. It was so amazing to hear all these missionaries sing with everything they got. While I was singing something cool happened and I wanted to share my feelings with you about this... while we were singing they started singing a song about Hyrum Smith. I instantly started thinking about Carter and I lost it. I lost it because of the feeling I got. I felt as if he was there right next to me. I felt my brother and I think this was just telling me that he'll be here in two years singing in the choir. It was so amazing.

On another note… these missionaries are kicking my butt!!!  For exercise time they will go up and do a workout before we play games and I of course went with them. But man do they know how to work-out. I’ve been way sore but it’s a good sore so I’m thankful.

I have probably the best teacher here though. His name is Brother Farr and he’s such a great guy and invites the spirit and knows how to make us answer questions and have the spirit teach us. It’s amazing to feel. I’m learning so much out here and I love it and its crazy but I feel like my whole district has known each other for years and it’s only been a week... the spirit works in amazing ways. I really know the gospel is true and I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth. I know this because of the feeling I got from reading this morning. I love you (and everyone else) so much and I can’t wait to get out to the field!

p.s. I really do love you guys so much and keep the letters coming!! And I know that my whole district is very appreciative of the packages! We’ve already had a stick pull game and you know I won!! Those chickens we're interesting though because one of the guys hit another missionary in the eye so I had to ban them for a bit... but all in all I love it when you send me stuff!! It’s so funny because whenever they see our district leader with a package slip they’re like "I bet it’s for Elder Zeller". But again it is so amazing here and I love every second of it. Stay sweet everyone!!
