So
just so everyone knows, bucking hay is hardcore!! Last Monday we bucked hay for
like 5 hours and it was pretty fun but towards the end it was pretty exhausting. It was all good because it felt good and it
was some real hard work!! Then after
dinner a member asked us to move a hot tub... jeez that thing was heavy!! Probably like 1200 pounds easy. But we got it moved!! So that's awesome!!
Then
on Tuesday we helped a member with some service up in Missoula. We helped him with some stuff at the bishop
store house there. It was pretty fun and
we had some fun hanging out with the missionaries up there. After that we had a
lesson with Justin and he's getting closer and closer to baptism it's awesome!!
I'm so excited for him!! Then we had a lesson with Jim; and this guy is
pretty interesting. He knows without a
shadow of a doubt that the Book of Mormon is true... but he doesn't know how
Joseph smith got it... so we have a conversation with him about it. Or more like Skouson has a conversation with
him because they use a lot of big words that I have no clue what they mean...
so I try and learn from them haha but it's cool to see them talk and I add
things when I can.
Then
the next day our ward mission leader gave a really cool lesson on creating
fertile soil and how sometimes we don't plant those seeds but we create that
fertile soul for people and I thought that was the coolest thought!! It was so cool because it's so true!! Sometimes we don't plant seeds, or even
harvest the fruits of our labors but we can always create fertile soul for when
those seeds are planted they can grow and flourish. We just have to act like Christ and always
show who we are and what we stand for. He
said something in his lesson I thought was really cool. He said, " Every action we take is a
missionary moment" so I really liked that because everything we do has
potential to be a missionary moment. And
then what made the day that much cooler was out of nowhere my old math teacher
from high school walks into the church!?! How cool is that!?! So naturally I had to take a picture with him.
Then we had a super cool lesson with the
Golds and taught the gospel of Jesus Christ and they are just sooooo awesome!!
Today
we have basically been hanging out with some really awesome members and we went
to help them move a piano. Super great
times!! Anyway talk to you next
week!!!
