Barfing... Baptism... Birthday Extravaganza!

Hey all this week started out pretty interesting.

Elder Apaui and myself
We started with exchanges on Monday so I went with Elder Apaui (A-paw-oo-E)… you’re welcome haha.  I went with him in his area and we got a bit of a late start after the normal P-Day stuff.  Plus we accidentally locked the keys in the church so that was funJ.  Anyway, so we finally got to Sheridan to our dinner appointment and they fed us some really good breakfast for dinner; literally favorite thing ever!  Then after dinner we tried like 2 or so people but couldn’t do much because we had to go in for the night.

In the middle of the night I wake up and have an exorcist moment where I go to the bathroom at about 1 in the morning and puke my guts out and I accidentally get it all over the floor.  Of course once I’m done I have to clean it up and what not and go back to bed.  Then I wake up again and repeat the previous experience except this time I actually made it to the toilet.  So I was thinking I was done after this last experience… sadly I was wrong.  I wake up in the morning and I still feel like trash.  I lay there, almost dying from the inside when it hits me once again!!  I hurry to the bathroom and just let everything go.  After this go around I felt much better!!

Now it’s time to take this experience and put a gospel swing on itJ  I’m pretty sure I got sick because I ate something earlier before exchanges that had gone bad but I didn’t realize it.  Because of this I paid the price.  And just like that sometimes we take things into our bodies and our mind that are bad or shouldn’t be there and it’s not an easy thing to get rid of.  So just like my body’s immune system worked we also have an immune system for our souls when we take in sin or that bad stuff and it’s the atonement of Jesus Christ.  When we use that atonement of Jesus Christ we’re able to get rid of that sin from our soul.  Is it the easiest thing ever??  Not by a long shot.  Just like when I was puking it wasn’t easy at all.  It would have been a whole lot nicer if it just magically teleported outside my body.  The atonement is the same way and it’s not easy but it’s worth it.  And sometimes we have to go through it a few times till we truly feel better but I can promise that we will feel better afterwards!!  So yeah anyway because of me getting sick I had to stay in on Tuesday.  I didn’t want to risk puking on a doorstep haha.

I had a purpose to going to Sheridan!! I had a baptismal interview to take care of!!  So rain or shine I was going to make that happen!!  And it was so awesome!!  She was so ready for baptism!!  Afterwards we went to dinner at a local restaurant and I still wasn’t feeling 100 so I order a grilled cheese and fries.  Well I’m about halfway when I look up at Elder Apaui and say “I think I’m gonna throw up...” to which he responds, “well then go to the bathroom!”  I sat and contemplated his advice and decided that it was some solid advice so I stood up and speed walked to the bathroom.  Luckily I didn’t puke but I came out of the bathroom and we decided to leave and go back to the apartment.  So that finished up our Tuesday.

Wednesday we had our district meeting and it was pretty sweet!!  We learned about using family history in our teaching which is something I was way grateful to learn because I knew like nothing as to how we could use that... so I learned a lot.  After that we got back with our usual comps.  All in all a real solid exchange… except for that sickness situation.

Then we had a lesson with our investigator Kia and she’s making some huge steps towards the gospel and learning the truth for herself!!  It was so awesome!!  We taught her the plan of salvation and had a diagram of how it worked so we set it up and explained it all and it was super great.  After that we did some service at this gym in town that a member works at and so we just helped by cleaning up around it.  As always the service was pretty fun!!  Elder Jacklin got to wear one of those backpack vacuums and it was pretty sweet looking.  He looked like a ghostbuster or something and I was bummed because we both didn’t have our cameras with us so we weren’t able to snag a pic… such a bummer.

At the Baptism (Elder Jacklin, Chelsea and Me)

Then that night we had Chelsea’s interview and she passed with flying colors!!  It was sweet!!  After that the ZLs stayed the night with us and man, Elder Brown is a goofball hahahahaha!  He was making farting noises with his armpit and showing us magic it was so awesome!!
Us and the soon to be Elder Anderson

Then Thursday we had to run to Butte for our car to get some service done so we were kind of stuck in Butte for a while and nothing really noteworthy happened there... after we got back we had a lesson with our investigator K’leigh and it was awesome!!  We took a kid who is going to the MTC this Wednesday and kind of showed him the ropes.  It was really awesome!!  Then later that night we had a lesson with Sarrah and her mom was there and so we taught her and her mom with the help of quite a few members.  It was super great!!  Kind of nerve racking having 2 RMs there but hey what do ya do??

Chelsea and me
On Friday we get a random call to help this dude move so we go over and helped them out with the heavy stuff.  We helped as much as we could and then we got stuff all ready and lined up for the baptism we had on Saturday so that there wasn’t any hiccups.  We printed off the program and got all that done before hand.  Then we had our dinner in Lima with an investigator; so we went over and taught the plan of salvation.  Our focus was on our investigator.  He dropped getting the discussions before because the missionaries were too pushy, so we’ve tried being a bit chiller. But in this lesson we decided that we would be a little bit pushy.  And so we did and I think it really gave him a lot to think about as far as why he’s here and what he needs to do.  Hopefully he realizes that we care about him.

Then Saturday was like the best day ever.  So we filled up the font and made sure everything was ship shape in preparation.  Chelsea was baptized Saturday night and it was so awesome!!  Everything came together super well.  There wasn’t any hiccups and the spirit that was there was amazing and I’m so thankful for the experience I was given to perform the baptism.  It was such an honor, I can’t adequately describe.  It was amazing because as she came out of the water the whole room was full of the spirit.  It was super awesome!!  Best birthday ever!!  Then we went to the Bishops house and they sang happy birthday and it was super great.

Party till we're purple! - Sponge Bob
I also got my birthday package and as usual it was amazing!! I was blown away with the letters I received.  It was awesome!!  I opened part of it but the other part has to wait until we are together as a district so stay tuned.

On Sunday it was so cool because Chelsea was confirmed a member and given the gift of the Holy Ghost.  It has been such an amazing experience to be able to see her from the beginning up to this point and the change that the gospel has brought into her life.  Gotta love it.

Later that night there was a youth fireside we were asked to attend.  It might have been the greatest thing I’ve ever been too haha!!!  It was a fireside on dating and it was awesome!!  There was all these different opinions on different things, but the two things that made me laugh the most was first, one of the guys said that holding hands was a sin and that kissing would always lead to sexual transgression... yeeeeaaaaah hahahahaha!!!  I thought it was pretty funny and then the second thing was they were talking about how their spouse purposed to them and one of the panel members was black and he leans back on this question and says to his wife, “go on, tell ‘em how big daddy did it.”  I was on the floor laughing!!  It was the greatest thing ever!!  Hahahahaha it was so awesome!!  I loved it!

The awesome letters!
Well that was my week ladies and gentleman and it was an amazing week!!  Started out a bit rough but I turned it into a positive and the week ended on a high note!!  So just remember there’s something positive in everything!!

Love ya!!

Don't Worry, I'm Not Dead Yet

11/06/2017
Hey all!!

Don’t worry, I’m not dead yet!!  Almost died though haha!  We were driving around and I don’t think this car saw us or something and they pulled out in front of us and seriously my life flashed before my eyes!  Thankfully, I was able to get to the brake just in time.  We stopped probably an inch away from this car.  Thank goodness the Lord was looking out for us!!

This week has been so freaking awesome!!  We were suuuuper busy with service at various places around the town and teaching lessons plus it snowed up here and we probably have about a foot.  Not too bad but me and Elder Jacklin tracked down some shovels and shoveled a lot of peoples sidewalks.  Honestly service is one of my favorite things ever.  Not just because most times I get out of my white shirt and tie but because I know that we are making life easier for someone out there!!  It’s a good feeling!!  Halloween is over so tis the season right???  Go out there and serve someone just like Christ would!!  Last year the church put out a 25 Days in 25 ways and they’re doing that again this December!!  It’s a super awesome way to help people around and answer prayers of other people!!  Be that tool that God needs you to be!! :) Alright, so shoveling was awesome!! Haha!!  We also had a lesson with JJ’s friend (JJ is a member here that’s going on his mission on the 15th) it was awesome!!  We just went and recapped the restoration because the record said they got into some deep stuff and taught “everything”... yeah we figured if she was taught everything that was a lot of info and so we recapped everything and she asked a lot of awesome questions!!  Some real thought provoking ones... and I loved it!!

We carved some pumpkins this week as well!!  My pumpkin was probably the best there tbh... it was a tiny face and it was funny haha!  But after a member snagged my iPad without me catching on... soooooo he did what anyone would and took a million pictures... and being the person I am I saved the best ones for your enjoyment!!

Sunday was freaking awesome!! So it was fast and testimony meeting and one of the YSA guys we’re pretty close with was given credit for shoveling a ladies walk and he didn’t do it 😂 so that was pretty great, haha!  But honestly the best part of it all was Sarrah and Chelsea both got up and bore some really powerful testimonies.  It was so awesome to see and hear what they had to say about the gospel and the truths they’ve come to know.  It was so great!! I loved every second of it!!  Then sarrah came up to us afterward and said hey so December 2nd is my date and I don’t want to move it.  It’s so cool to see that the Lord works with his own timing!!  It was so awesome!!

Then after church we had an awesome lesson with our two new investigators, K’leigh and Clint.  They’re so awesome!!  Once again the Lord has timing with everyone and everyone is different and K’Leigh wants to be baptized so badly but Clint has a few more questions that he needs answered.  But that’s the best thing, God answers those questions of the soul!!  Sometimes it takes a bit longer than you want but the answer will come.  You just have to ask!!  But K’leigh said she wants to be baptized on the 18th of this month!!  It’s so cool to see the Lord put people in your path who are ready for the gospel and the truth it holds :) this gospel is so amazing and the change it can bring will blow your mind.
Well love ya all!!  Catch ya next week!!

A Week of Sweet Miracles

10/30/2017
Hey all!  Another pretty good week and I've got my iPad back so I'm back in business!!  Anyway so we had a lot of really sweet miracles this week.

The major miracles came from one of our investigators Sarrah.  She's making some really awesome steps towards her own personal conversion.  She came to a ton of events by herself and she came to church by herself and she asked for a blessing and it's so awesome!!  She also accepted to be baptized on the 2nd of December!!  She's doing so awesome and our other investigator Chelsea has been doing awesome as well!!  She's excited as ever for her baptism and has come to church the past two weeks!!  It's awesome!!  We've got another lesson with her on Tuesday and so it's going to be awesome!!  Also on Sunday there were two mission farewells and it was like a blast from the past haha!  These were like the first mission farewells I've seen on my mission and boy did the memories come flooding back!!  It was a brother and sister and they're going to do so awesome as missionaries!!  They know what they're teaching is true and it's awesome!!  Then after sacrament meeting our ward mission leader comes up to us and is like I've got an investigator for you! So we were like sweeeet!  So we start following him when a young women from the other ward is like hey Elders!! And introduces us to a girl who wants to start taking the lessons but accidentally went to the other ward haha!  So we set up a time to meet with her.  Then we finished following Brother Leslie and met this guy and the first thing he says to us is hi I'm an investigator!!  So that was cool and we started talking to him then the girl comes out and is like hey dad!  I'm going to the Bairs house tonight and we were like confused for a sec and then we put everything together haha!  But we met with them on Sunday night and it was awesome!!  We taught the plan of salvation and told him the lesson comes from three questions where did I come from why I'm here and where I'm going.  And he's like oh I already know!!  So this was like immediate red flags so I asked him what he thought and he said I'm a son of god and I'm here to do his work and after this life I'll live with him again... we were blown away!!  It was so awesome!!  The spirit was there and the members who were there with us bore powerful testimony it was honestly amazing haha!

Like I said earlier, this has been an awesome week with lots of cool miracles.  The Lord blesses those that do his work and if you don't believe that then try it!  Love y'all!!

Broken Ipad = Short Email

10/23/2017

Hey guys so this is going to be kind of a lame weekly email.  I don’t have much time plus I don't have my iPad... It’s in Billings getting fixed.  This week was pretty awesome though!!  We had our zone conference, stake conference, interviews and a youth fireside and it was all awesome!!  Zone conference was great.  The focus was a lot on using technology like we should and fulfilling our purpose as missionaries.  It was sweet.  We also got our flu shots there... That was scary... I don’t like needles...  Anyway, stake conference was awesome!!  One of my biggest take aways was that nothing happens by chance.  The Lord has his hand in every aspect of our lives; whether you're a missionary or not.  Interviews were awesome!!  President and I had a good ol chat about the area and missionaries here.  Then we had a youth fireside on Sunday and it was awesome!!  We watched Meet the Mormons and the youth put it together and it was great.  The youth in Dillon is some top notch youth.  But yeah that was my week.

Sorry for this lame email but I don't have like anytime too write.  It’s my bad.  I’ll do better next week.  Talk to y'all later!! Stay sweet!

From one State to Another

10/16/2017
Well this week has been a hoot and a half and it feels like it’s flown by.  So on Tuesday we had a sweet lesson with Chelsea and she's doing awesome!  Super excited for baptism!  Then that night we had institute with all the young single adults in the area and it was super sweet.  We talked about the beginning with Adam and Eve then towards the end the guy formerly known as Elder Christiansen comes in!!!  Haha, that surprised me so much!  Probably the last person I expected to see but it was so cool.

Then on Wednesday we had our district meeting and it was super sweet learned a lot and got to know each other a bit better.  That night we taught Sarrah and it was awesome!!!  We taught her about prophets and their roles in our lives and it was a pretty good lesson.  Definitely felt the spirit a lot.

On Thursday we did some service at the local library and this place is freaking crazy!!  It looks like it’s a small castle and its awesome!!  But we helped them with their firefighter day so all the kids saw the truck and it was sweet!!  It was funny how much they were freaking out, haha.  All the kids got to sit in the driver’s seat and I thought they might explode through pure excitement!  Then we had dinner with our Bishop and shared a video with him about the Book of Mormon and he's like you should go over to Ethan's house and share that with him!  So we did and it was awesome!!  I love Ethan he's a recent convert to the church and strong as can be in his testimony of the gospel.  He's awesome!!

Then on Friday we did some service at this thrift shop in town and helped out a lot of the ladies who work there and it was awesome because as most people know I love thrift stores. Elder Jacklin picked up this picture of a white tiger that he thought was the coolest thing ever and he’s like in love with white tigers.
Sometimes you're closer than you think
to the people you love. Had to take a pic for
my brother Carter.

So we did that and then we went up to Butte because I left some stuff there that I kind of needed.  So we went up to Butte and got the stuff and then found a few funny road signs to take pictures with.  Then we went down to Dillon and had dinner with the member family that hosts us here in Dillon.  So that was sweet to get to know them a bit better than just our neighbors.

Saturday we decided that would be our Lima day so we went down there and visited a few people and drove a few more miles to the Idaho border, so now I can say I’ve been to 2 of the 3 borders in my mission haha.

After that we went back to Dillon and went to dinner then tried contacting a few people that I hadn’t met yet and then we had a meeting with our ward mission leader and went over what was happening in the area.

Then Sunday both Elder Jacklin and I were speaking with a recently returned missionary.  So it was kind of weird to be talking at a missionary homecoming but it was good.  Elder Jacklin did really good.  I accidentally started jumping all over my notes and it was rough haha.

After church we had a lesson with Sarrah and it was super good and we had a really cool experience!!  So we were teaching about tithing and fasting and before the lesson I kind of got the thought to have Elder Jacklin lead out this lesson.  So I asked him if he wanted to and he's like yeah sure so we go into this lesson and he leads out like a champ!!  We transitioned really well and utilized the members and it was awesome!!  There's something special when you can feel the spirit work through everyone in the room.  Afterward we talked a bit more and decided that we all wanted to fast and pray for her on a specific day.  It was just really cool and I think it showed to her that we care for her so much.  It was awesome.

Then today we didn't really have any plans, so we chilled and got all our stuff done and then hit golf balls off a cliff lol.  It was a blast haha.  Anyway love you guys!! Talk to you next week!!

Broken Trio, New Comp & Goodbye to the Man the Myth the Legend

10/9/2017
Hey all this week has been awesome!!  At the beginning of the week the trio got broken up... which was a sad day.  But all things happen for a reason right??  I hope so.  Well after that I got my new comp straight from the MTC!!!  Getting a new missionary from the MTC is almost like being forced to play the lottery with a slim chance of winning... so needless to say I was pretty nervous but I got him on Thursday and he's such an awesome guy!!

It honestly feels like he's been out for a whole lot longer than he actually has been.  Like we taught a couple lessons this week to Sarrah and Chelsea and they were both really awesome!!  We followed the spirit and it was awesome!!  We were sitting in that lesson with Chelsea and the spirit just hit me like a bus filled with lead and said, "talk about priesthood and priesthood blessings" so we try to follow those feelings, so we talk about priesthood for like 10 minutes and then finish teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.  After that is when baptism came up we talked to her about her desire to be baptized and she told us she wants to be baptized and decided on the 11th of November which is freaking awesome (because that’s my birthday)!!!  And then at the end of the lesson she asked if I would be willing to give her a priesthood blessing which I'm always willing to do.  So I gave her the blessing and it was super great!!  Anytime I get to exercise my priesthood I feel incredibly grateful.  But that whole lesson was completely guided by the spirit which was such a good feeling.

Then we taught Sarrah and it was super awesome!! Elder Jacklin and I taught in total unity and it was awesome.  We seemed to help her with a lot of her concerns she had.  All in all, it was a super good and I enjoyed it a lot.  Members seriously help a ton when it comes to missionary work especially if you've got the right ones!!  And boy did we have the right ones!!  They bore some really powerful testimony that hit me hard so I hope it helped her out.  It started to snow up here so it's really turning into the great white north in a way, haha.

Then on Sunday we went to Lima for church because they asked us to speak so it was really awesome going down there and connecting with the members again!!  Lima is definitely going to get more attention this transfer!!  We spoke down there and it was awesome!!!  Elder Jacklin killed it for only being out for like 4 days!  It was awesome!!  We spoke on a talk that really stood out to us and it was the talk by Elder Stevenson about spiritual eclipses, which I mentioned before.  I thought it was such an awesome analogy!!  I would definitely recommend giving it another look!!  Then today I had to say goodbye to the man the myth the legend, Elder Trae Patterson, my best friend, an example and a brother to me.  He has served his two years as a missionary for the church and is going home this Wednesday.  It's a sad day but it comes for every missionary.  I'm just glad I was able to serve around him for his last little bit and say goodbye.  I love the quote that says, "Whenever there is a meeting, a parting is sure to follow. However, that parting need not be forever... whether a parting be forever or merely a short time... that is up to you"  I know I'll see this guy later on but it's been good to serve with him and to get to know him.  This is going be a friendship that lasts a lifetime and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for it.

Well guys it's been a good week!!  I'll talk to ya next week!!

Nerf Gun Repentance

10/2/2017
Words to the wise... nerf guns and eyeballs don't mix... so anyway I'll explain later on because I've gotta get people to read my weekly somehow and not just look at the pictures haha.

So anyway, last Monday just as a recap we had an epic nerf war and plans are that the same thing is going down today just bigger proportion.  So that's going to be freaking crazy in a good wayJ  So then on Tuesday we decided to go out to Lima and meet some more people there so we hopped in the car and took off and on the way the mountains looked so awesome!!!  Like I miss snowboarding so much right now it's ridiculous... and of course I took a pic...  it's a super low quality pic but that's what happens when you take one through the car window driving at about 80 mph.

We went to Lima and had dinner with a member family and her son is taking the discussions so it was good to meet up with him.  Anyway then on Wednesday was district meeting and not a bad one if I do say so myself.  We got some good training done and it was all just a real good time.  The district decided to joke around and mess with me a bit since my suit didn't match a few weeks ago and everyone wore a suit that didn't match to district meeting so that was pretty funny haha.  After district meeting we went and ate at this place in twin bridges and it was pretty good!!  Can't complain at all!!  After that we tried contacting a few people out of the blue and it went decently well.

On Thursday was our planning day so we just planned for our week and then had dinner at this super good place where they legit have a mac and cheese burger!!!  I'm pretty sure that as I was eating it I experienced nirvana… 😂 ... it was so good!!  Then later on that night we had a lesson with Sarrah, one of our investigators, and this was an awesome lesson!!  We taught about the gospel of Jesus Christ and she asked all the right questions and it was awesome!!  Pretty funny though, but I lost the phone Wednesday night and couldn't find it until later on and I had missed a call and a few texts from the member that helps us in the lessons asking if we were still good for Wednesday night... I was super confused because I had it in my books that it was going down on Thursday night.  Anyway so we still had the lesson on Thursday but I realized that I had to have put it in on the wrong date... rookie mistake… opps, haha!  But it was super funny because I was super confused about the whole thing but it is all water under the bridge now!!  Then on Friday we went street contacting for a little bit.  Then we tried visiting the people in our book.  When everything seemed to fall through we decided to take tripanionship pics at this rock place since we didn't have like any together.  So basically it looks like we're about to drop a fire new album which I thought was funny.

Saturday conference had its big kickoff and man was this conference one for the books!!  I felt like a lot of the time I was being spoken to directly!!  Honestly my biggest take away from conference was the whole concept of being in a spiritual eclipse.  I absolutely loved that way of putting it and teaching a lesson that's not easily learned.  So that was super awesome!!  And then priesthood conference was super good as well and Sunday finished it right off!!  Just this whole weekend strengthened my testimony of the prophets and apostles that much more and I just loved every second of it.  After conference we had another really awesome lesson with Sarrah and we taught the word of wisdom and she's like yeah I don't see a problem with this at all.  In fact I've stayed away from these like my whole life so it’s no problem.  Which is exactly what you want to hear as a missionary!!  So that was just super freaking awesome!!  Then we drove up to Butte for today's shenanigans.

I'm sure that you're wondering about the whole nerf gun in the eye thing (or maybe you forgot)... well you see I think Thursday night we were all chilling and Elder Escobar goes to the bathroom.  Well, I decide that when he comes out I'm going to pepper him with his own nerf gun.  Pretty good idea, right???  Well I also grab his little pistol because why not right?  I have the pistol in hand and decide that I'm going to do a no look shot right at Elder Montoya... this was a bad idea.  But there was no little voice in my head saying that it was a bad idea or anything like that, which is what normally happens but this time nothing.  So I let off a shot at Elder Montoya and I look over right as it hits him right in the eye and I swear this is all going in slow motion.  Well it puts him down and I immediately feel suuuuuuuper bad... and to this day I still feel really bad...

That's my week in a nutshell thanks for listening and tune in next week to find out how the nerf war went!!

Elder Zeller's signing off.

She Accepted my Invitation... Highlight of my week!

9/25/2017
Hey all!!  Pretty solid week!!  So we started the week with the normal missionary shenanigans that come with Monday.  We had a sweet nerf war and it was a blast!  Nerf is life everyone... nerf is life.

Then on Tuesday I woke up pretty sick so we had to push a lesson back a few days with one of our investigators.  So I basically slept the whole day and took some medicine and I was right as rain the next day.  So Wednesday was district meeting and it was pretty good as far as district meetings go.  No complaints here and I learned a lot so that’s always good.  Then we went out to eat and all that good stuff.  Whitehall was hurting a bit on miles so we had district meeting there so they didn't have to drive a ton and use a ton of miles.  So that was fun.

Then Thursday we did our planning and all that fun stuff and had a lesson with Chelsea.  She's super awesome and really soaks up everything we have to teach her and she loves the love she feels from the members here :) the members here are really awesome especially the YSA (young single adults) we've been working really close with all them and they help out the work a whole ton.  It's pretty sweet.  Then later on we had another lesson with someone that a member introduced to us.  Her name is Sarrah and she is way beyond prepared for the gospel.  We taught her the restoration... well I was the only full time missionary there because it was splits so that was super fun.  But she really understood the restoration and the spirit was super strong and was testifying the whole time.  It was a super sweet feeling.  And I extended the invitation to be baptized and she totally accepted!!  So that put me over the moon happy for her!!!  That was honestly the highlight of my week if I'm being 100% honest.  It was so awesome :)

Then on Friday we did a lot of finding.  Not too much to report on.  We tried contacting a lot of old investigators.  We also got some new guidelines on technology and all that.  So if you noticed missionaries on Facebook no longer start with Elder or Sister.  There is a method to the madness.  This is so that people who want to attack us and our beliefs can't just search up "elder" or "sister" and find a ton of missionaries to do that to.  So it's more of a safety thing.  We got more of that stuff and that was great.  Then on Saturday we had our meeting with the zone leaders.  They went more into depth about the whole thing and new guidelines we have.  I decided to have a little bit of fun and we had the meeting over Facebook messenger so we had filters so I put a filter on and it was funny haha 😂 anyway so that's that for Saturday.  We also did some service and moved a ton of wood for a lady in the ward.  But it's getting colder and colder up here haha so more layers are coming out and I'm slowly working into my winter gear that's been in storage.  I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of excited about that :)

Sunday was pretty awesome.  We went to church and so that was pretty good; can't really complain when you're in the Lord’s house.  Bummed we didn't see anyone we were teaching there but hey next week for sure!!!  Then after church we had another lesson with Sarrah and taught her the plan of salvation and she asked a lot of really great questions and so it was awesome to teach her.  She honestly soaks everything we teach her right up and it's awesome.  Then today we've got another nerf war going and we've got some sweet bases set up.  It's pretty sweet.

Anyway, take care everyone!!  And stay sweet!!

Love,
Elder Zeller

A Change for the Better... but not my clothes

9/18/2017
Hey all this week was a crazy one!!

We started on Monday with a zone p-day so that was a blast. We played ultimate and volleyball and it was truly a awesome. Then on Tuesday we had institute with the YSA (young single adults). It was super sweet!! Then on Wednesday we had a district meeting and it was the last district meeting for Elder Christensen so that was chill.  Then we went and taught a lesson to a really sweet investigator and we taught her the restoration.  It was really awesome!!  Then we went and taught a recent convert about the restoration and decided to switch things up and have him teach us about the restoration which was awesome!!  He did so great.  Then on Thursday was Elder Christensen’s last day so that was crazy.  We taught Chelsea again about the restoration and it was really good!!  Then we helped set up for a playground thing at the local school where they were unveiling the design of a new playground.  Then we had splits and we visited some really awesome people and I met a few more people that we will probably start teaching which is awesome!!  Then we went to DQ with some of the YSA kids before Christensen goes home.  So that was super fun.  Then we went to bed.

Then we woke up Friday… and that's the day Elder Christensen, now Jon, and myself parted ways.  Our vehicle coordinator drove up and picked him up it’s been really, really awesome serving with him and it was sad to see him go.  He brought a change in me and I really appreciate that in a big way.  After that I went with the other elders and we started visiting members together so it wasn't a super weird change to have three elders instead of two.  I move into the other elder’s apartment, which was good.  They're super awesome guys and one came out with me so it was cool to catch up.  Then on Saturday we went and visited some more members to introduce each other and share a quick message with them and give them a spiritual boost.

On Sunday we woke up and I realized that I didn't bring my suit pants to the other apartment and we didn't have time to grab them so I went to sacrament meeting in khaki pants and a grey suit coat... totally not something a missionary should be wearing!!  Haha!!  I went back and changed afterward.  Then we went and visited some members that other members told us might need a visit.  And that was my week.

Sorry I don't have much time to write this week, but love you guys!!

Love,
