Lighting the World in Dillon

Well I better apologize because I totally spaced sending out an email last week... not much happened that week anyway other than thanksgiving which was awesome, and I stuffed myself like crazy which is standard for missionaries I swear.

Anyway this week has been a whirlwind of emotions.  The beginning of the week we had one of our investigators call us and tell us she wasn’t going to make her baptismal date.  So that was a bummer.  Then we had tons of people cancel on us and it was really disheartening to be honest.  But I knew that the Lord blesses his servants so we just hit the pavement and went out and contacted a few people.  Then there was a light parade and there were tons of people out and about despite it being cold.  So we went and talked to a lot of people there.  Lately we have focused a lot of our messages on the light the world campaign (which is so awesome).

This time of year is absolutely awesome with all the lights and the holiday cheer!! Darn near everyone is willing to hear a message about Jesus Christ which is what we do and it’s just a blast!!  Then after the parade thing we went to a lesson with Sarrah and it was awesome!!  She said it was one of her favorite lessons so far and that felt pretty good!

Then on Sunday we went to Lima and it was sweet.  We had a super solid testimony meeting.  Later on that night was the Christmas devotional and it was so cool!!  I loved all the talks and the music was freaking awesome!!  I just loved every second of it.

Well that’s my week in a nutshell love y’all!
Love,
